Hans Christian Andersen

 

Here are some full-page and spot illustrations that I created for a book of well known Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales. The project consisted of fifty-three full color illustrations and took  nine months to complete. The book was published by Chariot Book Publishing. This project gave me the opportunity to do what I am very passionate about, storytelling. Great stories from a master storyteller deserve great art, so I did my best to create illustrations that would live up to these timeless and classic tales. I had a high level of creative control as far as the choice of images, composition and layout of all the art. As a result, this project will always have a special place in my heart.
